SCRMC Hosts Annual Fishing Tournament for Relay for Life
On Saturday, April 14, South Central Regional Medical Center and Ellisville Medical Park hosted the 2nd Annual Relay for Life Fishing Tournament at Lake Bogue Homa.
Fifteen, two-person boats participated in the fundraiser. Fishermen in the overall winning boat were David Staples and Sam Staples weighing-in at 10.78 lbs, with a total of five, live fish caught. The winners received a $400 cash prize, trophy and plaque presented by Jeff Roberts, professional angler and officiator of the event.
The total raised as a result of the tournament was $4,800 to benefit the SCRMC Relay for Life team to support the American Cancer Society. The Relay for Life Team members from South Central Regional Medical Center and Ellisville Medical Park would like to thank those who participated and supported this annual event.
