Neurology
Dr. Nancy Burt joined Jefferson Medical Associates in the practice
of Neurology in November 2001. Dr. Burt attended medical school
at the University of Nebraska, completing medical school in 1995.
She also completed her Internal Medicine Internship and Neurology
Residency at the University of Nebraska.

Urena (School of Medicine) Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic,
in 1992. She completed her residency at Woodhull Medical and
Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, New York, in July 2001.
Bernard G. DeAsis, MD
Pediatrics
Dr. Bernard G. DeAsis joined the Family Health Center in the
practice of Pediatrics in November 2001. Dr. DeAsis received
his medical degree from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines,
in 1988. He completed his residency at Long Island College Hospital
in Brooklyn, New York, in December 1997.
Emmanuel A. Fajardo, MD

Dr. Emmanuel A. Fajardo joined the Family Health Center in the
practice of Internal Medicine in August 2001. Dr. Fajardo received
his medical degree from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines,
in 1992. He completed his residency at Meharry Medical College
Affiliated Hospitals in Nashville and Mufreesboro, Tennessee,
in June 1997.
John B. Lyon, MD
Ophthalmology
Dr. John B. Lyon joined the Lindstrom Eye Clinic in the practice
of Ophthalmology in March 2002. Dr. Lyon received his medical
degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia,
in June 1994. He completed his residency at the University of
Alabama Combined Program of Ophthalmology in Birmingham, Alabama,
in July 1998.
