Outpatient Center set to open in December
South Central Regional Medical
Center and 11 Laurel surgeons and gastroenterologists will have
joint ownership in Laurel Surgery and Endoscopy Center, LLC,
a multi-specialty outpatient center which will be located at
12th Street off of 16th Avenue in Laurel. A groundbreaking ceremony
for the center was held Monday, March 24th at 1 p.m. at the site.
The 15,000 square-foot center is being designed with 4 state-of-the-art
surgical suites and three procedure rooms and will be equipped
with the latest technology. Physician owners will be:
- Judith Bradley, M.D.
- Michael Brooks, M.D.
- Carolyn Cegielski, D.O.
- Robert DeSantis, M.D.
- Stephen Johnson, D.O.
- Eric Lindstrom, M.D.
- John Lyon, M.D.
- Steven Nowicki, M.D.
- Chad Saul, M.D.
- Carl "Rusty" Stevens,
M.D.
- Ross Ward, M.D.
The facility will be managed
by Global Surgical Partners, Inc. The center is set to open in
December of 2003.
