Say Goodbye to Wrinkles, Unwanted Hair, and More

Thanks to new technology, wrinkles, scars, and more can be corrected using laser therapy. Lindstrom Eye Clinic is pleased to announce that Dr. Judith Bradley and Dr. Eric Lindstrom will be performing laser facial resurfacing, beginning May 2005. According to Dr. Bradley, “there is a way to treat cosmetic conditions without major surgery and a long period of recovery.” The Sciton Laser has the ability to perform several procedures, including:
  • MicroLaser Peel
  • PhotoRejuvenation
  • laser treatment of veins and redness
  • laser hair removal.

MicroLaser Peel treats skin conditions associated with aging and an active lifestyle. Skin conditions such as wrinkles, scars, acne scars, keratoses, or pigmentary problems have been very successfully treated with this peel. Typically, the procedure is repeated two to four times, spaced six to eight weeks apart. Healing takes three to four days and symptoms immediately following the procedure resemble a sunburn.

PhotoRejuvenation uses the power of pulsed light to stimulate your skin cells to generate new collagen. In addition, the photothermal energy targets and eliminates many of the fine vessels that cause redness. Conditions that can be treated with this process are fine wrinkles, age spots, small facial veins, rosacea, brown spots, birthmarks, enlarged pores, red spots, and freckles. This is a noninvasive and gentle procedure with virtually no downtime.

ClearScan utilizes infrared energy that allows precise treatment of visible vessels, broken capillaries, spider veins, vascular lesions, and discoloration of the skin. People often use this treatment on the face, neck, chest, and legs. In some cases, repeat treatment will be needed, depending on response to the treatment and the result desired. There is virtually no downtime and moderate activity may resume immediately.

Laser hair removal easily eliminates unwanted hair and gives a smooth, beautiful appearance. All skin types can be treated. Areas most popular for hair removal are legs, arms, face, back, and thighs.
