The 2006 Women’s Life Conference

The 2006 Women’s Life Conference was a tremendous success. The day started with humor from nationally recognized humorist Sally Baskey. With her alter ego “Ida Mae Fudpucker” she had the audience rolling with laughter. Concurrent health forums followed with area physicians speaking on a number of health issues. Deanna Favre presented a general session about her fight against cancer and the Hope Foundation. An interactive health-information booth fair and health screenings were held prior to a delightful luncheon. Jones OnStage gave a very dynamic performance and then welcomed keynote speaker Della Reese. The legendary singer, actress, minister, and author gave a very inspirational and delightfully funny presentation. Following the presentation, Ms. Reese gave autographs.
