South Central Regional Medical Center Opens New Medical Clinic in Taylorsville

South Central Regional Medical Center, in an effort to better serve the people of the community, recently opened the South Central Medical Clinic of Taylorsville. Thao Doran, DO, began practice at the clinic in November.

Dr. Doran is a board-certified family physician who received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lake Erie, Pennsylvania, and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Grant Nichols, Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT), also practices at the clinic. He provides physical therapy services five days a week.

The clinic provides complete family health care services, including treatment for:

  • allergies
  • respiratory infections
  • rashes
  • flu
  • women’s health
  • chronic problems
  • diabetes
  • fibromyalgia
  • pediatric care
  • thyroid disorders
  • and more.
The clinic also will provide industrial medicine services.

Taylorsville Mayor Larry Kelly introduced Dr. Doran and her staff and welcomed them to the community during an open house held in November. Dr. Doran says she is pleased to serve the Taylorsville area.

The clinic, located at 140 Eureka Street in Taylorsville, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. For an appointment call 601-785-9289.
