South Central Employees Host Safe Halloween Event for Community
Halloween is a fun time, but it also can be a very dangerous time. For this reason, the employees of South Central Regional Medical Center (SCRMC) hosted a safe, fun environment for area children Halloween night. The event was held at South Central Place.
Paula Prestwood, Director of Surgery at SCRMC, and chairperson of the event, says, “Our employees had a great time hosting the event, and those attending seemed appreciative. There were a variety of booths offering children’s activities and treats. Each booth had a health or safety message,” Prestwood says. The event also featured a 22-foot slide and other inflatable jumps for the children to enjoy. The best part is that the event was free. “I appreciate our South Central employees for offering such an exciting event for the community. I feel certain that we will offer it again next year,” Prestwood says.
