The specially trained nursing staff works with physicians to provide care for patients with

- renal,
- neurological,
- surgical
- and other conditions requiring intensive interventions.
Patients requiring critical care following surgery utilize South Central's 12-bed critical care unit. This unit is equipped with sophisticated monitoring technology and provides intensive nursing for the critically ill patient who needs constant care.
A private waiting area is available for families.
